How overtime works in Yukon
Under Yukon Employment Standards Act, s. 10, an employee in Yukon is entitled to overtime pay of 1.5× their regular hourly rate for every hour worked beyond the threshold.
Yukon applies both a daily and a weekly threshold. Overtime is triggered once an employee works more than 8 hours in a single day or more than 40 hours in a week. Worked example
